How to use Edible Image Designer Prints
1. Remove your Edible Image Designer Prints decoration from its backing sheet by gently rolling it over the edge of a table or counter to loosen. Carefully peel one strip away from its backing sheet.
2. Position and place the strip on the side of your cake.
3. Gently smooth the edges with your fingertips as needed.
Tips for using Edible Designer Prints Decorations:
- Solid pattern designs look best if you trim the white edge of your Edible Image Designer Prints strips with the sharp edge of a pastry wheel cutter before removing from the backing sheet.
- You can also use an X-acto type razor knife to trim Designer Prints.
- After you wrap your cake and match the strips end to end, cut the excess part of the strip while it's on your cake with an X-acto type razor knife, in an upward motion.
- If you don't want to worry about matching or trimming, pipe a line of frosting between Designer Prints to hide the seams.
- Make sure your hands are clean and dry before handling edible products.
- If cake is frozen, thaw slightly before applying the icing.
- If image bubbles after application or freezing, gently tap (do NOT rub) the image.
- Avoid extensive exposure to ultraviolet light. As with any food coloring, the image may fade over time.
Additional Troubleshooting Tips
