Ordering


1.1 Placing an order

  1. Browse our wide range of products by clicking on the category links on the left hand side of the page.
  2. When you find something you wish to purchase, click the "Add To Cart" button.
  3. To review the items that you have added to your shopping cart, click the "Cart" tab on the top.
  4. Once you are satisfied, click the "Check Out' tab on the top.
  5. If you are a returning customer, enter your login/password and your shipping details will automatically be populated
  6. If you are a new customer, you have the option to either create an account or proceed to check out without creating an account
  7. Once completed, you will be shown your order summary with payment instructions and a copy of your order details will be emailed to you
  8. Your order will be processed as soon as payment remitted and cleared

1.2 Payment Options

We accept Direct Bank Deposits and Australia Post Money Order.

Credit card payment (Visa / Mastercard)
Credit card transactions are transmitted securely using 128bit Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption and are processed using ANZ Egate.

Orders will only be processed once payment clears. This will normally take one to two business days for Direct Bank Deposit and Credit Card payments and one business day after receiving your Money Order.

1.3 Out of Stock Products

We do our best to maintain our inventory and mark items "out-of-stock" on our website. However there are times where there may be fewer items in stock than what you may have ordered. In the event when an item you have purchased and paid for is unavailable, in a case by case basis, we will:

  • offer a credit voucher to be used when you shop with us the next time to reimburse what is owing
  • offer a refund for what is owing
  • or you can choose an alternative product(s) from our website of the same value.
We will email you to notify the status of your order.

Shipping


3.1 Shipping methods

We understand that quick delivery is of major importance, and we do our best to post orders placed and paid for by credit card before 10:30AM Brisbane time (Mon-Fri) on the same day.

All other orders are posted 1 business day after payment clears.

Please note that same day postage is the day we post your order and not the day your order will be delivered.

All orders are posted via Australia Post and delivery times will depend on shipping method and where your reside.

If you require extra cover/insurance, please email us at shop@bakingpleasures.com.au as all shipping options below are not insured. We are only able to reinburse orders that are insured.

Postal delivery time is approximately 3-5 business days (1-2 days longer if outside of the metropolitan area, NT & WA). Signature required..

Australia Post Express Post
Postal delivery time is approximately 1-2 business days (longer if outside of the metropolitan area, NT & WA). Trackable.

3.2 Shipping Rates & Charges

Shipping charges are automatically calculated on checkout and is determine by the estimated weight of the parcel, destination and shipping method.

3.3 When to expect your order

At Baking Pleasures, we make every effort to process (pack and ship) your order as quickly as possible.

We advise that you notify us as soon as you make payment so that we can pack and prepare your order for shipment.

Below are approximate postal delivery times as advised by Australia Post

Eparcel & Regular Post : 3-6 business days (longer if outside of the metropolitan area, WA & NT)
Express Post : 1-2 business days (depending on your postcode)

As we have no control over your orders once we post them, the best way to resolve late/missing parcels is to contact Australia Post directly. If you have selected either Australia Post Registered or Express, please follow the following steps:

1) Ring Australia post at 13 76 78.
2) Inform them that you would like to track your Eparcel/Express Post Parcel.
3) Quote them your registered or express post number which was send to you via email to you when your order was posted

They will track down your parcel and inform you of its location. If you experience further difficulties after proceeding with the steps above, please contact us and we will try to help you resolve the matter.Unfortunately for Australia Post Regular, there is no way of tracking your order.

Returns


4.1 Return Policy

All returns will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We do whatever we can to make sure that all products are in good condition before we ship them out to you.

For hygiene reasons the following products are non exchangeable nor returnable. These include but are not limited to food products, cutters, moulds, edible prints, tubes, decorating tools, cake tins. Items that are returned must be in its original state and in the condition they were sent in. Postage costs will not be refunded and return postage costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

4.2 Return Instructions

To request for a return please email us within 3 days of receiving your goods at shop@bakingpleasures.com.au. Products must be returned to us unused and unopened within 7 days if your return request is accepted. Upon receipt and acceptance of your return, Baking Pleasures will exchange/refund your purchase price (not including shipping and handling cost).
